About me
Tian is a doctoral student at the School of Counselling, Human Services, and Social Work, Faculty of Education and Social Work at the University of Auckland. She holds social work licenses in both New Zealand and China, and is also a licensed counselor in China.
Tian is a dedicated social worker and researcher with previous practice and study experiences in China and the UK. Her current research interests focus on exploring social work interventions in cases of child sexual abuse and the professional collaboration within child protection systems. Her doctoral thesis is titled "An Exploration of Social Work Intervention in Cases of Child Sexual Abuse in a Multidisciplinary Context: The Relevance of New Zealand Experience to the Development of Policy and Practice in China."
Finally, Tian have a passion for basketball and singing. Excited to get to know everyone!
